Your portfolio — the coins and the amounts — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, never sold, and never shared with advertisers. We don't run a server that holds it, because there is no account to hold it against. Delete the app and it's gone.
Holdtotal is free and supported by ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which receives standard device and advertising information such as your IP address, your advertising identifier, and how you interact with ads. That is described in full in our Privacy Policy. What AdMob never receives is your portfolio: your holdings are not used for ad targeting and are not passed to any advertiser.
The app connects to exactly two places: CoinGecko, for public price data, and Google AdMob, for ads. It never connects to a wallet or an exchange, and it has no ability to move funds.

No. Holdtotal has no wallet connection and no exchange integration. You enter your amounts by hand. It never touches your keys and it cannot move your funds — there is no buying, selling, or trading in the app at all.
On your phone. Your holdings are saved locally on the device and are never uploaded to us. "Clear all data" in Settings wipes them, and so does deleting the app.

CoinGecko, a public market data provider. Prices are provided by a third party and may be delayed or inaccurate. Holdtotal shows you a number; it doesn't tell you what to do with it.
